New London, CT - The former Pizza Hut property on Colman Street has been purchased for $190,000 by city businessman Samuel Rogovin, who in addition to owning Rogovin Allied Moving and Storage in New London is a real estate investor and landlord throughout the region. Timothy Londregan on Londregan Commercial Real Estate Group and Norman Peck III of Pequot Commercial co-brokered the sale of 361 Colman Street. The property, originally constructed for Pizza Hut, most recently was a nightclub, which has since closed. Rogovin plans to improve the building and may transform it to a
retail use, according to Londregan who represented Rogovin in the
transaction. The former Pizza Hut is one of two scheduled acquisitions
of area property by Rogovin. He owns more than 10 acres of land on
Colman Street and already is the owner of the Colman Street properties
leased to MacDonalds, Taco Bell and Nissen Bakery. Rogovin hired
Londregan to negotiate with several nationally recognized restaurants,
automobile dealers and retailers for the various available sites. |
